Daba Makourejah is a young senegalese singer,composer and guitarist based in Dakar, Senegal. She sings in english, wolof and french.Her main influences are Roots reggae, Western African music, Jazz, hip-hop, soul and Uk stepper. Active on the underground dub scene since 2010, she has released several vinyls for independent labels, an album called Far Eye with a french band named the Rockers Disciples (2012) and recently and Ep "Nawet" (2016) featuring exclusively her own compositions in an Afro Jazzy Style under the name DABA. Eclectic music, creative soul and free spirit!
