The Laredo Film Society is a non-profit organization with a mission to empower the community and educate the public through the exhibition of film and media arts. The Society screens independent, classic, and alternative films and hosts workshops for aspiring filmmakers. By providing cinematic experiences for the everyday cinephile, from the novice to expert, they aim to cultivate a love for cinematic arts in the South Texas community.
